Family Enrichment Program The Next Door, Inc. and Freedom Recovery Community are offering educational and skill building activities for family members of our residents. We realize that families and loved ones are affected by addiction and unhealthy choices. The goal for these activities is to help families have a better understanding of addiction, mental health problems, and recovery. We will also provide resources and enrichment for families as they strive to heal and rebuild relationships. A family member can be any person who is a part of a resident's family of origin, part of her extended family, or someone in her support network. In other words, family is anyone who is supportive of resident's efforts to maintain long-term recovery and is willing to participate in family enrichment activities alongside and to assist her. Twelve-step sponsors, god parents, pastors, prayer partners, friends, children, and siblings of residents are all welcome and encouraged to participate in the informational and motivational activities on the Family Enrichment Program held monthly on Saturdays.
