"It's The Next Door for me too," is a common phrase you will hear from me.  As Admissions Director, I really enjoy meeting the women where they are and empowering them to make positive changes in their lives.  My hope is for them to believe they are WORTHY of living happy, healthy, substance free lives.

Kristy has a Bachelor's in Social Work from Lipscomb University.  She has twelve years of experience working with victims and offenders of domestic violence and incarcerated individuals in Nashville.

Ramie Siler
Orientation Case Manager and Freedom Recovery Community Property Manager

My reason for choosing The Next Door is because I have been given the opportunity to be an example for the women we serve. The Next Door provided for me a means to better my life and become reunited with my daughter. I want to be an inspiration to the women in recovery especially during those times when we feel we can’t go on. I believe that we are not defined by our past and that through faith God will provide “the next door”- another chance to live a full and productive life as women and as mothers.

Ramie is currently working toward licensure as a LADAC.

Jennifer Strickland, MA

I was immediately drawn to work at The Next Door, Inc. because it is abundantly clear that the mission is to empower these women and equip them to live full lives. I feel blessed to be a part of such an amazing endeavor and am excited to work with women and their children, helping them to live successfully, at the new Freedom Recovery Community."

Jennifer has a Master of Arts degree in counseling from Trevecca Nazarene University and is currently working toward licensure as an LPC-MHSP. Jennifer received her Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Baylor University, with a minor in Religion. Jennifer has several years experience working with children and families in crisis situations, including working with youth in a residential facility.
