The Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) continues with the high therapeutic intensity and person-centered recovery focus like the Residential Transition Program, but with less structure. It is an outpatient program that meets five hours a day and up to five days a week. PHP clients receive intensive day treatment and return home at night to practice their recovery skills. Clients may choose to enter The Next Door treatment at this level of care. They may also step down from the Residential Treatment Program based upon their individual need. Partial Hospitalization may also be a good alternative to the Residential Treatment Program if a client has an appropriate, supportive living environment and is able to manage daily activities without round the clock supervision.
Services provided in the Partial Hospitalization Program include:
- Individual therapy
- Group therapy
- Educational groups
- Family therapy (includes Family Enrichment Program events)
- Peer and community support
- Psychiatric evaluation and medication management
- Case management
- Relapse prevention and life skills groups
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
- 12-Step recovery work
- Trauma recovery groups
- Long-term Aftercare program
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we will be implementing a telehealth option for Partial Hospitalization. Please call 855-TND-HOPE (863-4673) for more information.
