Visitation (Chattanooga location only)
The Next Door has several different opportunities that allow you to come and visit your family member or friend staying with us. Keep in mind that we are located on Moccasin Bend’s federally owned property. This means the facility must remain in compliance with federal law, and there are to be no firearms or tobacco on the premises at all. Upon arrival you will need to leave all personal items in your car, including your cell phone. You may only bring your keys, ID, and dollar bills or change for the vending machines in the building with you.
Visitation times are:
Every Wednesday: 10am – 12pm or 3 – 5pm
1st Saturday of the month: 1 – 5pm
3rd Sunday of the month: 1 – 5pm
*If you attend the Family Enrichment Program, your visitation time is extended until 6pm
**Please note that all times are listed in Eastern Time Zone
Visitors must first be approved by TDOC, and a visit request must be submitted by the resident.
